Thin yet large epaper could be the future of the brochure

Hammacher Schlemmer is an adaptive ambient sound leveler, which detects harsh, unexpected spikes in ambient noise, and reacts within a fraction of a second to blunt the intrusion. A user can configure one of 12 soothing "soundscapes" such as rolling surf, gentle rain, a bubbling brook, a crackling fireplace, or a tranquil meadow. The device features a unique adaptive mode, which instantly raises the volume of the soundscape to counteract the disturbance when the background noise level jumps, for example, due to a passing ambulance or a neighbor's party. The unit's features a 3" woofer and 1" tweeter, and 2.4-liter extruded-aluminum sound chamber are tuned to produce crisp, clear audio. You can also enjoy the device privately via the 3.5mm headphone jack or connect it to a stereo system.
The Hammacher Schlemmer Ambient Adaptive Sound Therapy System comes at a price of $300.
